ART TO EAT WITH YOUR EYES AT WAGAMAMA
Join The Debate With Local Artist Matt Sewell

Diners at Printwork’s wagamama will have the interesting opportunity to see local artist Matt Sewell’s work while they are eating.
This initiative is part of art and eat, a project designed to create a unique space to showcase some of the uk’s finest emerging artists.
Matt said: “It is an honour to be part of wagamama’s project bringing art to diners, and I hope everyone has a great time joining the debate and critiquing my work! it is certainly different for me to be exhibiting my work in a restaurant and was great fun to work with the restaurant staff to install it!”

Matt’s work will be featured on the restaurant’s walls until the 20th of November. His work draws on his rural heritage, fusing bucolic, psychedelic landscapes with a symbolic treatment of animals, beautiful characters and fairy-tale like narratives.
Matt has also created a limited edition of 25 giclee’s with vanish on fine art paper entitles “waxwings and the fjord” for the art and eat project and are available at wagamama.com/artandeat
Each is priced at £99, with all proceedings going to the artist.
