British Pride 2012

The Olympics 2012 and new British men's wear collection Coeur de Lion

This is certainly the year to make your patriotic statement if you're a proud British citizen! Finally, The Olympics has made it our way and at the end of July 2012, the games begin and London is to be transformed into one unforgettable spectacle. People from all over the world will be flooding to our great country to support the gifted athletes and bask in what is sure to be a glorious event!

This year's Olympics has caused a rise in forgotten pride for us Brits, and the inspiration from the biggest international event in the world has been unleashed and translated into Olympic themed memorabilia and even fashion pieces. Everybody's getting involved, including world renowned designer, Stella McCartney, who, alongside Adidas, is the creative director for The Olympics and has designed her own line of aptly themed sportswear!

However, if sportswear isn't entirely your forte, then the new designer men's wear collection, Coeur de Lion, has just made their launch. This collection, titled after the prestigious King of England, Richard the Lionheart, makes their claim as 'The True British Brand'; and it is just that! All fashion garments, including an initial range of jackets, knitwear and polo-shirts, are made in Britain, to the highest of British standards. Prices range from £45 to £100, and at the courteously of the patriotic brand, every garment bought donates £1 to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal Charity.

The ideal way to proclaim pride for your country; or even a perfect gift idea for Father's Day on Sunday 17th June 2012.
