Manchester's Eurocultured Street Festival: First Acts Announced!

Once again, the ever diverse, always exciting, Eurocultured Street Festival hits Manchester City Centre for the 9th year running. The first wave of acts has been announced, bringing with it the continent's most vibrant displays, spotlighting everything from dancers and performers to bands and musicians! The festival promises to highlight exactly why Europe is brimming with contrasting cultures.

2 fun-packed filled days across 3 streets, 7 venues, 2 stages, on car parks and in railway tunnels under Oxford Road Station, combine to make one heck of a festival, with a fantastic atmosphere! It is without a doubt that Eurocultured is one of the best boutique festivals in the UK.

Get ready to listen to cultural sounds echoing through the streets of Manchester. Highlighting bands and artists include, Caravan Palace, Death in Vegas, Von D and Birdy Nom Nom from France; Japanese Popstars from Ireland; The Correspondents and The Amazing from Sweden; as well as Zun Zun Egui and Zakopower from Poland.

Sit back and gaze in wonder, as Europe's skilled street artists, graffiti artists, illustrators, fine artists and tattoo artists transform Manchester's streets into their very own canvas, with appearances from Frau Isa from Austria, Low Bros from Germany, Etam Crew from Poland and many more still to be announced.

But that's not all! The festival is plentiful with an array of diverse performances from dance groups, such as Ukrainian Folk Dance troupe 'Orlyk'; as well as mind-blowing breakdance competitions with floor ripping beats for your entertainment. Even memorizing hoola-hoop tricks are to be showcased by the Hooping Harlots.

This is just the tip of the iceberg with many more performers, musicians and artists still said to be appearing. With over 100 more bands and DJs, Eurocultured Street Festival in Manchester 2012 is an event you don't want to miss.
