The North West Spring Wine Fest

This bank holiday weekend, you deserve to indulge and unwind in the company of good food and most importantly, fine wine! This year's North West Spring Wine Fest promises an exciting collection of boutique wines, selected from the greatest independent retailers from across the region. It is at your privilege on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th May to experience fruits from some of the best wine producers in the world, while perusing in the perfect atmosphere of the beautiful St. Peters Church, in Ancoats.

Wines will be chosen from a handful of experts in specialist retailers, such as Hangditch, Bakerie and Harvey Nichols in Manchester City Centre; Cork's Out in Alderley Edge, Chester and Stockton Heath; Origin Wines and Spirits in Wigan; Tour de Belford in Macclesfield; Cape Klein in Stockport; The Vineyard in Ramsbottom; and many more! 

The festival will also include walking tours of the event's historical location, dubbed 'Little Italy', alongside a variety of masterclasses which are to explore wines from countries, such as Croatia, New Zealand, France and Japan. Food is another aspect not to go amiss, with a selection complimentary to all things wine. A vast choice of cheese, bread and wine infused ice-cream will be available, as well as the city's renowned, Manchester Egg.

While you enjoy a boozy bank holiday, The North West Wine Fest still aims to raise funds for a worthy cause, aiding the city's own community foundation, Forever Manchester, through the means of your donations and a fabulous wine-lovers raffle!
