This modern style pedicure actually originates from Turkey and family run 'Silky Feet' has just opened willing the people of Manchester to come and have their feet chomped on. Well it's not so much of a chomp as a gentle nibble but very ticklish and in my opinion a little bit scary!

Once you get used to something sucking on your feet then it becomes very relaxing but it takes some getting used to at first as it's such a strange sensation. Apparantly it stimulates acupuncture points and improves blood circulation so expect polished, preened, pretty feet if you can stand the Garra Fish sucking away on your hard skin – delicious!

They don't have teeth so there's nothing to be scared of. Treat yourself for just £10 for 15 minutes or for serious feet faux paus then you might want to try the 35 minutes session for £20.
